Frequency - Immersive Radio Landing Page Template
Frequency is a full-width immersive landing page built for radio stations hosting live events. It pairs a Neo-Retro visual identity with cinematic scroll storytelling, kinetic type animation, and an embedded live player. The page guides visitors from a dramatic station intro through an artist lineup reveal to a focused event registration form.
by Rocket studio
Frequency is a single-page event registration landing page designed for radio stations with a story to tell. The Neo-Retro design system layers deep obsidian backgrounds with vacuum-tube amber headlines and worn silver accents. Animated sections carry visitors from the station's origin through today's studio and into a full event lineup, ending at a clean sign-up form.
This template is built for radio stations, broadcast teams, and music event organizers who want to drive event sign-ups while keeping listeners close to the brand.
Most radio stations have rich histories and loyal audiences but lack a page that matches the emotional depth of the broadcast itself. A generic event page cannot carry the warmth of the signal. Listeners land, feel nothing, and leave before the form appears.
This template delivers a complete, ready-to-customize single-page layout built around cinematic scroll storytelling and event conversion. Every section is pre-designed and ordered to build trust before asking for anything.

This template brings together several distinct design and functional systems. Each one is built directly from the brief and serves a specific role in the visitor journey.
The header opens on a pure black viewport where the station's call letters arrive one character at a time. Each letter sharpens from a static blur to razor focus, arriving with analog grain texture and a faint audio crackle effect. A live equalizer bar in amber pulses below the call sign, signaling that the station is on air.
The page scrolls like a camera move through time. The first frame presents a sepia-toned origin story with a grainy archival photo. The second frame brings the current studio to life with backlit mixing boards and gold-rimmed monitors. The third frame delivers the event lineup at full spectacle, using frequency-line wipe transitions between each frame.
Each artist card in the lineup section flips like a vinyl sleeve on hover, revealing the artist name, event date, and a five-second audio preview. Visitors hear the proof before they ever reach the registration form, which significantly lowers hesitation at the sign-up step.
The registration form captures name, email, and a single toggle for VIP Studio Access or General Admission. It is positioned immediately after the lineup reveal and uses obsidian and gold styling that matches the page's visual language throughout.
A persistent floating bar carrying the primary call to action, "Reserve Your Spot on the Dial," stays pinned as visitors scroll. This keeps the conversion path accessible at every point in the page without interrupting the storytelling flow.
A slim bottom drawer opens when a visitor selects "Listen Live Now," embedding the broadcast directly in the page. Listeners stay on the landing page while the station itself plays, giving the audio experience time to close the conversion.
| Section | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Kinetic Type Header | Introduces call letters with animated grain and a live equalizer bar |
| Origin Story Frame | Establishes station history with sepia archival photography |
| Current Studio Frame | Shifts tone to present day with backlit studio visuals |
| Artist Lineup Reveal | Displays event cards with hover-triggered audio previews |
| Event Registration Form | Captures name, email, and admission preference |
| Floating Registration Bar | Keeps the primary call to action pinned throughout the scroll |
| Live Player Drawer | Embeds the broadcast in a bottom drawer without navigating away |
The visual identity follows a Neo-Retro theme that feels like the inside of a 1972 receiver rebuilt with modern components. Black dominates every background. Gold ignites every headline, hover state, and progress bar. Silver traces dividers and secondary type like etched chassis markings.
The full-width immersive layout is structured to maintain visual impact and functional clarity on smaller screens. Cinematic scroll sections and artist cards reflow cleanly for touch-based browsing.
The page is built around a deliberate sequence: earn attention first, then build desire, then ask for the registration. Each section hands off naturally to the next.
This template is part of the Full-Width Immersive template style category, designed for brands where atmosphere and emotional storytelling are central to the conversion strategy. It is well suited for the Media and Entertainment category, specifically the Podcast and Radio Show subcategory.
